Berlin - Hamburg - Bremen - Dusseldorf

Berlin is a very extraordinary city. Despite or maybe, due to its not simple history and massive destruction during World War II, a very unique and interesting atmosphere has been formed here which presents a combination of medieval, new and modern history. Especially the last 200 years left a particularly vivid mark on the city. Famous and most renowned sights of Old Berlin are connected with the era of the rapid transformation of Prussia from a provincial duchy into the capital of a powerful empire. Some traces of the Third Reich and a memorial to its victims have been preserved in the city. The border, dividing the city into two states and two systems, today has itself become the brightest and a unique attraction. Nowadays, life in the Democratic Republic of Germany is studied in museums.

Hamburg - is not only a city-port in Germany. Regarding the fact that it is one of the federal territories in the country, the city has the status of a state. This is also evidenced by the full name of the city - Free and Hanseatic city of Hamburg (Freie und Hansestadt Hamburg). The given status has historical roots and refers to the Medieval epoch when Hamburg actively took part in the formation and establishment of the Hanseatic League. Being located upon the river Elba, the city is the most populated in German and the third portal city in the world. The city motto at its best describes the whole essence of the city, it says: "Freedom, earned by the elders, may the offspring worthily endeavor to protect". Music sound, lights of ships and city lamps wonderfully find their reflection on the graceful waters of the Elba.

Bremen earned worldwide fame due to the fairy tale about street musicians. There was erected a memorial to the popular heroes of the Musicians from Bremen in the city. The legs of the donkey are quite well-polished because of the touches of those who have made wishes. Actually, the city has such an appearance that you want to paint illustrations for fairy tales from it. On Böttcherstraße street, in the old quarter of Bremen, you can see the house of Robinson Crusoe, the fountain of Seven Lazy Brothers and other attractions from various fairy tales. Meanwhile, Bremen is very diverse, the city combines Medieval architecture, history, high-tech and even the Space. All the sights are accumulated in the Old City which one can easily walk across on foot. You should make sure to visit the Saint Peter's Basilic, to see the statue of Roland and the 15th Century City Hall as well as to visit the Universum- an interactive Museum of the Whole Universe.

Dusseldorf is modern and, perhaps, the most exquisite city in German. Even Napoleon admired this amazing city callling it a "Small Paris". The history of the city started in the early XII century. On the place of the current city, over the banks of the quiet river of the Dussel there was a small fishing village. By the way, the name of the city derived from here. Indeed, "Dusseldorf" literally is translated as "a village in Dussel." Throughout time, the settlement began to grow and soon turned into a large city. Dusseldorf embankment is a favorite place for walks by locals and tourists. The magnificent bridges over the Rhine can be admired for many hours. No wonder these bridges are called works of art. In the embankment area there is an interesting attraction of the city - a TV tower more than 200 meters high.
