Traveler Club continues a series of annual group tours abroad and organizes another annual group tour to the mysterious PERU and invites everyone to join the most popular tour of South America - "In the footsteps of the Incas to Machu Picchu"

“In the footsteps of the Incas to Machu Picchu” is one of the most interesting tours in Peru.

Previously, the ancient Incas passed this route exclusively for religious purposes, but now people use it for inspiration and journey experience.

Hundreds of thousands of travelers from all over the world travel this route every year.

Since 1983, Machu Picchu has been included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and since 2007 - in the list of New Wonders of the World.

Meetings with participants will be held in advance at the Traveler Club office in order to properly prepare for this tour. (online for participants, who are not located in Armenia)

Day 1
Lima

Arrival to Lima Jorge Chavez airport.

Meeting at the airport, transfer to the hotel.

Accommodation in a 3* hotel "Britania" or the same category.

Day 2
Lima

Breakfast.

At 09:00, meeting in the hotel lobby with a Russian (English)-speaking guide.

Sightseeing tour of Lima.

The beginning of the tour from the Miraflores area - a visit to the Lovers' Park, a panoramic visit to Huac Puyan; Olive Park, ancient colonial estates - in the San Isidro area. Continuation of the tour of the historical center of the city - inspection of the Cathedral of San Francisco, Central Square, Presidential Palace, San Martin Square.

Visiting one of the best museums in Lima - the house of the museum "Casa Aliaga".

Built on the foundations of an ancient pyramid of the Inca era in May 1536, in founding of the city of Lima. It belonged to the Spanish conquistador Jeronimo de Altiaga, an associate of Francisco Pizarro.

There is no other mansion in America in which the same family lives for so many years, from generation to generation. Many historical values ​​are preserved here and give a complete picture of the life of the nobility in the colonial period.

At 18:00 Water Magic Tour - a visit to one of the largest fountain complexes in the world, which got into the Guinness Book of Records! The complex consists of 12 cybernetic fountains, the jets of water of some of them rise up to 80 meters.

Day 3
Lima - Cusco

Breakfast.

Transfer from the hotel to the airport. Flight to Cusco.

Arrival, meeting at the Cusco airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest and acclimatization.

At 13.30 Sightseeing bus tour of Cusco. Visiting architectural complexes: Saxaihuaman Fortress, Kenko Temple, Puka Pukara Fortress and Tambomachay Water Temple. Visit to the Koricancha Museum (Temple of the Sun).

Return to the 3* hotel "Siete Ventanas" or the same category.

Day 4
Cusco/Machu Picchu/Cusco

Breakfast.

At the appointed time, meeting in the hotel lobby with a Russian (English) speaking guide.

Transfer to the railway station. Boarding the train and transfer to the Hot Springs Excursion to Machu Picchu - the "lost city of the Incas".

Machu Picchu (in Quechua Machu Picchu means "Old Mountain") - the mysterious city of the Incas, built in the middle of the 15th century. It is located about 100 km from the capital of the Inca Empire, the city of Cusco and is so secluded in the Andes that the Spanish colonialists could not reach it

We became aware of this city in 1911 thanks to the American scientist Hiram Bingham. Although it should be noted that the locals have always known about Machu Picchu , but were in no hurry to share information with the aliens.

Since 1983, Machu Picchu has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, and since 2007 - in the list of New Wonders of the World.

Lunch at the restaurant of national cuisine “Ayasqa.” Then, return by train to Cusco.

Day 5
Cusco/Sacred Valley of the Incas

Breakfast.

Excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visiting an art fair in the town of Pisak (here you can buy handicrafts - ceramics, carpets, souvenirs, silver and leather products). and Vicuñas, get acquainted with the process of dressing and natural dyeing of wool.

Continuation of the excursion and inspection of the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo - one of the most important military structures of the Incas.

Lunch buffet at the restaurant of national cuisine “Hacienda Puka Punku”.

Accommodation at the hotel. “Siete Ventanas” 3* or the same category.

Day 6
Cusco/Puno

Breakfast.

Transfer to the bus station. Transfer by tourist bus "Turismo Mer" to the city of Puno.

Stops along the way: Sistine Chapel of America - Andaguailillas, Rakchi-archaeological complex dedicated to the god Huiracocha, where we will visit the Litiko museum.

Lunch - in the town of Sikuani.

At about 17.00 - arrival in Puno (Puno is located on the shores of Lake Titicaca, which is considered as the highest navigable lake in the world).

It was on Lake Titicaca that Thor Heyerdahl built his famous reed raft Kon-Tike.

Accommodation at a 3* hotel "Sol Plaza" or the same category.

Day 7
PUNO/TITI - CACA LAKE

Breakfast.

Transfer to the port.

Excursion to the floating reed islands of Uros - these are more than 40 man-made islands created by the Indians from the Uros tribe from reeds growing on the lake.

Here you will learn the history of the islands and its people. You can buy numerous souvenirs and ride on a reed ship.

Our excursion continues deep into Lake Titicaca to the island of Taquile.

The island is famous for its ethnic cultural values - the population of the island preserves ancient traditions, especially weaving. For its weaving art, the island was declared a "Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity" by UNESCO in 2005.

Lunch on the island.

Return to Puno. Accommodation at the 3* hotel "Sol Plaza".

Day 8
PUNO / KOLKA GORGE

Breakfast.

At 7.00 Transfer by tourist bus to the Kolka Canyon - the deepest and most beautiful in the world.

On the way visit Lake Lagunillas and 3 Volcanoes observation deck. Crossing the Salinas Reserve, where you can observe the graceful vicuñas (The animal that has the most expensive wool in the world).

Transfer to Chivay.

Upon arrival, accommodation at the hotel. Optional visit to thermal springs.

Overnight at the Colca Llacta 3* hotel or the same category.

Day 9
KOLKA GORGE/AREQUIPA

Breakfast.

Early in the morning visit to the observation deck Cruz Del Condor, from where an unforgettable view of the canyon opens, at the bottom of which the Colca River flows at a depth of 1200 m.

Observation of the flight of a powerful condor. Upon return, visit the villages of Yanki and Maka.

And viewing platforms Choketiko (window window) and Antuilke.

Transfer to Arequipa. Arrival and accommodation in a 3* hotel "Conde de Lemos" or the same category.

Day 10
AREQUIPA/LIMA

Breakfast.

Tour of Arequipa with a visit to the monastery of Santa Catalina, the central square, Catholic cathedrals and the observation deck of Yanahuara.

At the appointed time, transfer to the airport.

Flight to Lima. Transfer.
